I offer one-to-one clarinet, piano, vocal, sax & guitar tuition both to children and adults - beginners, improvers and advanced.
My focus is building the foundations of breath, technique, musicality and emotionality to express yourself fluidly and emotively. I am interested in guiding and following students on their individual musical paths - whether it be a nostalgic passion for heritage (e.g. a particular country's music), a desire to improvise, or simply to explore a certain composer's work.
I am also happy to mentor any musician in expression, theory and history of music.
Alongside private students I also teach in schools, and facilitate music sessions for charity Play for Progress. I have an up to date DBS and experience working with ages 3-100, vulnerable young people/adults, SEND and people with PMLD.
